Ok, the discussion on Aristotle was very enjoyable, but it is time to move on. What is so great about this book by C. S. Lewis?
A good time was had by all.

It’s brilliant. The way C. S. Lewis brings people to the Christian faith is brilliant; it contains splendid illustrations. Mere Christianity is one of the books wherein reading it one finds himself glad to be a Christian. It edifies in the true sense of the word.
Better than presuppositionalism. Not that I have a low opinion of the book.
When I first read the only half of it that I’ve ever read, I was still very solid and fundamentalistic, and unknowingly presuppositional. I thought Lewis was a heretic. He had all that nonsense about the SACRAMENTS. Didn’t he know that you only need faith and the KJV to be saved? After that, I read most of his other things and changed my mind. Perhaps I should read it again.
And I felt guilty that enjoyed his writing. This was early junior high.
